As part of the long-term planning process to implement a plan for the creative industries in Santa Fe, in March, 2005, Creative Santa Fe commissioned a report by the firm of McCollum and Diaz, of Santa Fe and Austin, TX. This firm provided a nationwide analysis of policies, initiatives, and infrastructures other cities in the US are employing towards reaching their cultural economic development goals.
